Stroboid Games is operated by Stroboid, LLC, a California limited liability company ("Stroboid," "we," "us"). By using this site you agree to these terms. If you don't agree with them, please don't use the site.

The service

Stroboid Games is a catalog of games that run in your web browser. The games are free to play. There is no account to create, nothing to download, and no purchase of any kind. We may add games, change them, or remove them at any time, and we may change or discontinue the site itself without notice.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• interfere with the site's normal operation, including by overloading it, probing it for vulnerabilities, or circumventing any technical measure we use to protect it;
• use automated means to scrape or reproduce the site's content at scale;
• interfere with the advertising the site depends on, or attempt to generate invalid activity against it;
• use the site for any unlawful purpose.

Your saved progress

Games save progress in your browser's local storage. That data belongs to you, it stays on your device, and we can neither read it nor restore it. Clearing your browser data for this site erases it permanently. Because saves are local, we can't guarantee a game in progress will survive a browser update, a change to a game, or switching devices. Don't treat a saved board as permanent.

Intellectual property

The rules of the games in this catalog are classic and in the public domain — no one owns the idea of sudoku or of guessing a hidden word. Our implementations of them are not. The source code, site design, written content, names, logos, and other branding are owned by Stroboid, LLC and are protected by copyright and trademark law. Playing the games does not transfer any of those rights to you.

Names and trademarks belonging to other companies, where they appear, are the property of their respective owners.

Advertising and third parties

This site is supported by advertising, and advertisements are served by third parties. We don't control the content of those ads or the sites they link to, and linking to a site is not an endorsement of it. How advertising cookies work here is described in ourprivacy policy.

No warranty

The site is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We don't warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Stroboid, LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, arising out of your use of the site. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limitations, in which case they apply to you only to the extent permitted.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute arising from them will be brought in the state or federal courts located in San Luis Obispo County, California.

We may update these terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "last updated" date, and they take effect when posted. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept it.
