The catalog currently holds 19 games, spanning board and strategy games, logic puzzles, word games, and card and tile games — see the full, current list on the homepage. New games are added regularly, and every one of them follows the same rule: play instantly, no account, no download.

The catalog is built around games whose rules are public domain and genuinely well known. That is partly a legal convenience and mostly an editorial one: a game nobody has to be taught is a game you can start playing in the moment you have, which is the whole point of a browser game.

How it works

Each game runs entirely in your browser. Nothing is computed on a server, which is why a puzzle responds immediately rather than after a round trip. If a game supports saving your progress, that save lives only in your browser's local storage — it never touches a server, and you can clear it any time by clearing your browser data for this site.

The flip side of that design is worth stating plainly: because your saves are local, they don't follow you between devices or browsers, and we can't recover one for you. We think that's the right trade for a site that never asks you to make an account.

How it's paid for

The games are free and stay free. The site is supported by advertising, which is why you'll see ad space on the game pages. Ad slots are given fixed room in the layout so the page doesn't jump around as things load, and they stay out of the way of anything you need to tap. Stroboid Games is a product of Stroboid, LLC, a single-member limited liability company formed in California. The company works across video games, content production, and software tools; Stroboid Games is its browser games property.
